Ben Harradine has improved the national record to 67.53m at the Townsville Student and Allcomers Games in Townsville (Qld). Naturally enough this is our new Club Record.
Bens’s automatic Olympic nomination came after his fifth place performance at the 2011 IAAF world championships in Daegu (KOR) last year.
Scott Martin has staked his claim for nomination to the Australian Olympic Committee heaving 65.63m, an Athletics Australia qualifier for the Olympic Games, at the Altius Track Crew Throwdown. His second place performance improves his season best by more than four metres and his personal best by 1.63m.
